Description
- PHE is also called plate heat exchanger gasket. In a gasketed plate heat exchanger, elastic gaskets are attached to the plates to seal the channels and guide the fluid through alternating channels to form a series of compact plates.
- This plate pack is assembled between the frame plate and the pressure plate and is compressed by tightening the bolts located between the plates.
- Plate heat exchangers or gasketed plate heat exchangers basically consist of a pack of thin rectangular plates, sealed at the edges with gaskets and held together in a frame.
- Our PHE (Plate Heat Exchanger) consists of corrugated metal plates with holes through which two thermal fluids pass.
